The Green Route ("Discover Rome") connects the classic sights, from Termini via the Colosseum and the Vatican to the Spanish Steps. The Orange Route ("Around Pyramid") also runs into the trendy Testaccio neighborhood and to the Eataly food market. The Blue Route ("Explore Museums") connects Villa Borghese, the Galleria Borghese, MAXXI, and other museums off the typical tourist path.

The Green Route works best for a first overview of Rome. If you want to see Testaccio and Eataly, switch to the Orange Route at any of stops 2 through 8; museum fans should head for the Blue Route.
